Chicago Die Casting (CDC) is a longtime manufacturer of pulleys that are sold to hardware providers across the US. CDC's customers wanted CDC to leverage Electronic Data Interchange for conducting business. In addition to substantially reducing the aging of accounts receivable, CDC needed to comply with this to avoid pricing penalties. CDC sought guidance from Travant for the successful implementation of the HighJump TrueCommerce EDI service. Travant worked with HighJump to set up EDI for accepting purchase orders, providing advanced shipping notices, and invoicing with all of CDC's major customers. This was fully integrated with the QuickBooks accounting system.
